1% Cashback returns on HDFC Platinum Debit Card

My SBI Cashback and BPCL payments were successful on the 19th morning and credited instantly.

Yes its not possible to change the date for added or scheduled billers.

There is option in new UI. Choose the Biller, Click on Manage Biller. Then Click on Manage which shows option "Change Scheduled Date" and when you click on it. I get message "We are working on the full version of our new site and will be back shortly."

My experience of getting 1% cashback on HDFC Platinum debit card.


Detailed steps on adding the other bank CC to HDFC Bill Pay.

1. Register on HDFC mobile app by clicking 'add biller'.
2. Select biller type 'Credit Card'.
3. Enter Biller information - Select bank to which your credit card belongs to.
4. Enter your mobile number and last 4 digits of the CC number. And give a name to the biller.
5. At this point it would show 'Enable Smartpay'.
6. In smartpay amount - select 'Entire Bill Amount'.
7. In 'pay from' select your HDFC Platinum debit card. Enter Expiry date. Press continue.
8. Skip the step of 'Would you like to make a payment while we add your biller?'
9. Accept the T&C and press 'confirm'.
10. Your registration would happen without OTP/PIN.
11. An sms would come which have mention of 'HDFC SmartPay via Debit Card XXXX'

I have an icici bill coming up on 26th sep.
If I follow all these steps and register it for smarypay via platinum debit card, will amount be deducted before that?

Best is to register before bill gets generated so that it will be scheduled in 1 or 2 days after bill generation.

I checked. No option to change scheduled date. Just added new biller to check.

@imrahul is it safe to not use BBPS option from Snapay for making cc payment, provided all the banks moved to bbps last year, will the amount be safely credited into the credit account ?

yes, failed for me after waiting 24 hrs

Same issue, money got debited from the account but it is marked as failed in the bill pay portal. Don't know what to do.

there's nothing that we can do. Amount will be refunded in couple of days. You need to pay the bill manually or some other way
