Credit card bill payment via Mobikwik earns 2% cashback points on SCB Visa Infinite Priority Debit Card.

I have paid over 3 lakhs in 4 days and got 2% points.
This debit card is offered free for SCB priority accounts.
Unlike HDFC there is no capping AFAIK. There is a daily limit on Mobikwik on transactions for CC bill payment.

Exclusions:
Effective 1 April 2021, spends made on your debit cards on certain Merchant Categories will not earn reward points (“Excluded Merchant Categories”). Excluded Merchant Categories like Mutual Funds, Insurance and Insurance Premium, Railways, Government payments, payments towards Schools, Financial Services including credit card balance payment, loan payment, etc.For Merchant Category Codes of the Excluded Merchant Categories, please click here.

Interesting. Thanks for the share. When did this actually start. Have never used my Priority Debit Card honestly. Is this 2% on only spends on the card. Any link to T&Cs. Thanks.

have you tried redeeming in Rewards portal, asking this to confirm if its (redemption portal) different for Debit cards and Credit cards
Though the portal is the same for reward points earned with CC and DC, and the vouchers available for redemption are the same, the value of each reward point earned with DC is somewhere close to 1%, or less than 1%. It's not 1:1 like what you have with Ultimate CC, for example. You earn 2 points on every 100 spent, but 2 reward points is generally Re.1 or 90p when redeemed for vouchers. E.g. Rs.2000 Uber voucher costs around 4500 points. The choice of vouchers isn't that great. You have Uber, Vistara vouchers, apparel stores...that's really it. Reward points cannot be converted into any cash value, only voucher redemption with the dwindling choice on the 360 portal.

Did you opened this account based on NRV or salary?

Just something to note - SC charges Rs.99 for redemption from the 360 degree portal (though I redeemed a long time ago, so that fee might no longer be applicable, or could have changed in the meanwhile...).

This makes it less attractive compared to HDFC platinum which gives straight 1% cashback as actual cash!
