Hi, I just saw one video on YouTube saying will get 5% cashback on utility bill payment on Amazon from HDFC Millenia credit card Max 1K/month limit.

It is true? anyone tried?

Btw, is there any way to get 5% cashback on utilities etc on Amazon Pay ICICI card?
As far as I know, it only allows 5% on amazon purchases to prime members and that also probably doesn't include Apay gift cards.

Utilities fetch 2% Cashback on Apay ICICI card. No way to get 5% Cashback through this card.

Paying electricity bills on Amazon using hdfc money-back plus will fetch 10x rewards?

And also paying on Amazon utility via Millenia still getting 5%?

Can anyone confirm these two?

Im confused
If we get 5% cashback directly by using millenia on amazon pay website then why people advice on buying amazon pay gift vouchers where we have to pay 1.2% + gst extra. Is it because of limit of cashback on it..?

Getting 5% for utilities is kinda a loophole. HDFC may fix it anytime by checking the Merchant used since Amazon uses different merchants for utilities.
People on the forum recommend buying AGV directly from Amazon, that fetches 5% straight.

Smartbuy can be considered if you've exhausted Amazon agv limit. And smartbuy gives 1% additional cb so more like 4.7% cb.

Also, if you're buying stuff on Amazon, Smartbuy's Amazon Shopping Voucher (ASV not AGV) makes more sense since it comes out to 6% net cb.

Only drawback is it limits to 10k, so if you want to pay an LIC or bill more than that. It's best to buy 20k AGV directly from Amazon and 10k from smart buy 30th of the month and again buy 10k from smart buy and 10k from AGV as Amazon had a 30k in 30 days rule for CC, 40K in 40 days, 50k in 50 and 60k in 60 days.
