Millennia 5% cashback on utility bill payment from HDFC Millenia on Amazon?

Hi, I just saw one video on YouTube saying will get 5% cashback on utility bill payment on Amazon from HDFC Millenia credit card Max 1K/month limit.

It is true? anyone tried?

With that method i should've got 364/- but In actual I got 318/-

I think I figured it out the transactions marked with Amazon pay India private (www.amazon.in) fetched me only 1%
By this logic the calculation matches to 320/-

I did only Amazon gift card and flipkart transactions this month and got about 640 cashback for total amount 10704 (more than 5%, dunno how).

This cb was for transactions done during 1-31 July.

Yeh HDFC hai. Same Happened with me many times when I had EasyEMI millennia.

They credited 5% as well as 1% for those txns🤣

I got a total cashback of 318/- whereas i should've got 364/- (if every transaction on Amazon qualifies for 5%)
I guess the gift card gets you 5%

Talked to cc, they say that the transactions report with "Amazon pay Bangalore" are considered as grocery and won't fetch you 5%
Gift cards on the other hand gets you 5%(confirmed by cc)

I have a feeling that they'll also stop giving 5% for gift cards as they shouldn't.

If eventually they do fix their systems.

Ace gives 2% on all online and offline spends right? (except for fuel, wallet load, govt transactions, etc., which were also not supported by Apay ICICI)
