Millennia 5% cashback on utility bill payment from HDFC Millenia on Amazon?

Hi, I just saw one video on YouTube saying will get 5% cashback on utility bill payment on Amazon from HDFC Millenia credit card Max 1K/month limit.

It is true? anyone tried?

The cashback will be available to redeem after next month statement but it will get credited in this month only afaik.

I think 1% and 5% cashback category is billed for entire month. All transactions u make are accumulated in that month and added in 1st week of next month irrespective of ur billing cycle

@sv004 is correct. What is confusing here? Cashback points for the calender month are credited in first week of next month which you can redeem after bill generated in that next month.

I read somewhere in this group that points will be credited after bill generation and will be available to redeem after next bill generation. Didn't knew that points will get credited in 1st week of the month for previous bill.

Its not for previous bill but for previous month. Points are credited next month 1st week once previous month completed. These points are available for redeem in next month, once bill gets generated.

My question is, can I also use smart buy to buy amazon gift voucher and also use that has payment? You can buy 10000 amazon voucher for 9500 in PayZapp app. Does smart buy have a limit as well?.

Can I use both hdfc millennia 20000+20000 AGV to effectively earn 2000 Rs, plus 5% even more for buying AGV on SmartBuy?

Paid 5k electricity bill by buying 5k amazon voucher from Amazon itself. Got 250 points. Just more than a week ago. Those 250 points are not redeemable rn though. They'll become redeemable when the next bill generates. Also are the any charges for points redemption?

On smart buy 5000 voucher you can buy for 4850 right? Did you also get 250 points added to your next billing cycle? So effectively did you get 500 rupees back?

Yes u can do like that. Make sure to buy amazon pay voucher and not amazon shopping voucher. Amazon pay voucher has fees of 147.5 rs for 10k also in one month u can buy 10k only. U can add 2 vouchers one this month and one next month and rest u can pay from amazon directly .

Yes also in addition to smartbuy cb of 500rs u wl also get 1 per default millennia cashpoints since its considered as other spends. Also if u cross 1lac this quarter ending march then u get 1000rs voucher amzn or flipkart and so . So another 1% return
