A few questions about Axis Magnus Credit Card

Hello All,
I recently received Axis Magnus credit card. Just a few questions -

1. Gyftr Axis Edge seems too good to be true. Gift Cards like Myntra and many more are available at 10x reward points. So does that mean we get 60 points on every 100 Rs. Spent? If we change them into miles, we get an approx. 50 miles for every 100 Rs. Am I correct in my understanding? (this is not including the milestone benefit)
2. I will be travelling abroad soon and will have to make a few big transactions. Is it wise to use Magnus for international POS transactions outside India?(for the milestone benefit)
3. Can we trust Axis? I also have Infinia and they have always sincerely credited points. Is Axis the same? Can we make huge purchases trusting that after 4 months the bonus RPs will be credited? What has been everyone's experience?
Apologies, if these have been answered before!

1L from coupons
1.5L from kris
this kris flyer valuation all depends on the expected travel dates and availability of redemption seats (also if you consider value in business class seats)
(many would rather take 2 or 3 economy seats instead)

and also only and only if you are able to use the 1 lakh worth of 10x vouchers (if not able to use then its a bad decision that will block money or lead to unnecessary purchases)

Would you recommend hitting the milestone every month by buying Gold coins/bars(which can be sold offline), given the substantial airmile benefit?

Personally I feel it’s better to divert all genuine spends to the Magnus.. rather than creating “manufactured spends” .. if falling short by a small amount in a month for the one lakh milestone in that case buying an Amazon gift voucher or some other mainstream voucher for websites which you anyways use makes sense.. i go for the milestone only when I have genuine spends that month. Always remember that the income declared in ITR should be more than the credit card spends.. No amount of rewards or miles are worth it if you are spending more than your declared income..

@TechnoFino is this official Gyftr account 🤔 A separate TF tag for this would be useful

Are these Milestones points on Magnus gimmik? They say you will get the spends milestone within 90 days. So for the period 1-30 th April, they said points will be credited by July 30 th, May 2023 would be Aug 2023, so in a year of 12 months we can get 6-7 months points max. What if points miles conversion ratio changes after 6 months? Is there a way to get the milestone spends faster or have I missed?

Also would utility bills to Government company- MSEDCL and hospital payments count for regular reward points? I paid by MSEDCL bill on 10 th April till date the points are not showing, customer care says 12 working days, but transaction after that points have been credited.
I hope they don't mean 90 working days to credit milestone points? Can someone clarity?
If that is the case then we can get max 6 months points in a year.

Gimmick or not depends on your perspective.. You start at 1st April, so you waste 3 months yourself, then Axis wastes 3 months for 1st milestone credit, so this is how 1st 6 months have been wasted. But from July onwards, it will be a monthly thing till the lifetime of milestone benefits offer. And nothing can be done if card is devalued w.r.t. miles conversion ratio or any other feature, everyone gets milestone credits at the same time (Recently : https://www.technofino.in/community...us-reward-points-check-yours.4241/post-180853)
Exclusions are mentioned here : https://www.technofino.in/community...-update-date-12th-apr-2023-11-00-am-ist.9863/
If your transaction has been missed for credit of ER, you need to contact premium.experience@axisbank.com

So this means if we start on Jan 1st 2023- 31st Jan 2023, the reward points should be credited by 30th April 2023. So Max we can get is 9 months in a calender year. I got my card in April 2023, so was wanted clarification.

Regarding utility bill payments - electricity is there a cap on the normal reward points?

Sometimes the customer care says you will get points as your card is Magnus and somtimes says you will not get points as they have been stopped. I have done transaction on 10 th April 2023 and not got the points on a utility bill till date.

You will get points for Utility payments. Where did you do the payment? Amazon (for sure you will get points), utility website (almost surely you will get points unless they are reporting the wrong MCC), other places (depends if it is treated as a wallet transaction or utility payment. If a wallet transaction then no points)
