Infinia About Infinia Upgrade

I ahve a Limit 8.4L and completed spends of 9 Lakhs in past 6months. I have asked a hdfc bank manager about upgrade to infina. they said me the minimum limit required is 10 Lakhs for an upgrade. Is there any way to get the upgrade possible. give me your suggestions please

No, only the card which has spends will be upgraded.

Now they have reopened a new ticket and forward the case to RM to explain me that I am not eligible 😕....i told RM that why r u trying to explain me that I am not eligible....I have done the spend on tata neu infinity....and there are multiple case that ppl have been upgraded from tata neu to infinia based on spend criteria....

What should be my next course of action? 😔

Yes, they will but there maybe issue if they increased current criteria for upgrade

They will be checking the criteria on which you asked for upgrade

I will wait for their response and then escalate if they will reject ...one more query ...the people who have upgraded from tata neu to infinia...for then it is not their only hdfc card... right...they have other core hdfc card too as primary card apart from tata neu card ... correct...I am asking this as I am having regalia (original card), then tata neu and Swiggy card....thanks for all ur guidance 🙏

Oh ok that sr got closed last night with a comment “details updated to coordinates” but I didn’t get anything other than sr close sms
However main grievance sr is open till 16th so fingers crossed

My concern is if they are upgrading tata neu to infinia for others based on spend criteria then what mistake I have done 😬

Every customer base is different from a bank or credit perspective so we can’t claim that way
Moreover as per product terms also co branded cards give 50% revenue sharing with bank so literally banks won’t upgrade cobranded ones not only hdfc
Why I am saying this things I too hold regalia gold tata infinity and swiggy
Due to upi and whole tata brands cb my spends on neu card is huge then home food swiggy which over years regalia got halt fully and i understand it when approached my RM for upgrades lol

That is not the case here...they are ready to upgrade core card to infinia to spend criteria is met...but for my case spend criteria is met in co-branded card...hence they are not agreeing...

Bro, if this is the case then I heard many people got upgraded from Tata neu to infinia and dcbm.

So, please escalate till pno and you will get the card.

that's not true. Neu has been upgraded before too to Infinia. Argue with redressal team first before you move to PNO. If they don't budge then go to PNO.


Wrong, all upgrades to Infinia are FYF.
