Activating upi without debit card

What are the banks that allow us to set up UPI without debit card?

I got to know pnb is one of them. Is there any thread for this?

Ya I want to know what all banks support this. Think hdfc n ICICI does not support via adhar for UPI activation

SBI allows this.. dont know about the other banks.. dint know if any thread exists on this topic

Almost all major private banks, and almost all PSU banks via aadhar verification. A better question would be which bank doesn't support yet.

Note: Some banks take more time to link them at backend and may not work immediately, but work after few hours.

AFAIR, both HDFC and ICICI does support. There could be a time lag or seeding error. For HDFC, joint holder need to have DC though. For some banks, like RBL, even joint holder don't require a DC to link their joint account and set pin by aadhar verification if he have alternate account in same bank.

Telling from experience after linking atleast 12+ accounts myself using aadhar. This is the first thing I do.
