Add on yes bank

No
Sending Chennai will not work as they need to validate the Aadhar digitally and better to visit the branch for the same. In addition, aadhar consent form will also be required
For (addon) debit card for joint a/c holder, they validated Aadhaar via OTP verification and issued it. For add-on credit card they said they don't do at branch. They will send it to Chennai office. Self-attested masked Aadhaar, PAN required. Printout of self-attested Aadhaar, PAN not accepted, signature has to be done after taking photocopy 🤦🏻‍♂️Also were asking for Voter ID additionally 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ even though the form clearly says ANY ONE of the documents

They will take from us and send to Chennai by themselves or we have to send ourselves?

I asked that specifically. They will send. Better to not send directly. But they validate some things before sending.
I went to branch, it has no credit card department. Executives said we don't take such forms. They called credit card executive who is 100kms away, she said we have to send to Chennai by ourselves

Yeah overall this bank is a bunch of clowns. Notoriously and consistently bad service. Nobody knows anything, even if it's their duty.

I'm sending form, aadhar, pan, voter I'd by DTDC courier today.
If they dont do, i will complaint on RBIO lets see
The worst thing is that your application doesnt have a refernce number or anything of such sort.
Hence even they cant track the application. It's only the single person in the CC backend team in Chennai who has an overview of everything.
I sent my docs twice myself since the branch asked to do it. They had no clue as to where it went or where it is in the chennai HQ.
THen I escalated to many levels, and finally a branch employee (who was not in the CC dept) still came and collected all docs and send it via the branch to chennai. After 2 weeks or so got an sms or email stating my application is in process and then I got the application id.
After numerous followups, finally got the addon card. It took around 3-4 months by the time my spouse got the card.
So good luck!!
The only reason I use this card much is the flexibility to use the RPs to book any flights via their portal. Which no other cards allow (HDFC does but with a 70% capping). SO I dont have to go thru the headache of transferring points to miles and then run around to find award seats etc etc.

Finallyyyy...after almost 5 months of escalations and fiollowups and blasting the yes bank officers, got my addon card yeaterday. Yet to get the physical one, but the app now shows the addon...
Please guide about escalation and follow up process for addons. Where to start? My branch validated KYC of 2 addons I applied for and gave me Indiapost tracking number. It did reach the Chennai office on 17th Feb. But nothing after that

That is exactly what happens..
Escalated to principal.nodalofficer@yesbank.in with scanned copies of all docs that was sent along with tracking details to show document is delivered to their chennai office
Still didnt get any response, hence escalated to presidential.complaints@yesbank.in
After which someone called from presidential desk ensuring action on this. Then after 1-2 weeks someone from branch called and said they're taking it up, but that I have to resubmit the docs one last time (it was the third time) but then he said he'll personally collect it from my home and send it via the branch to chennai. and then later the application went thru.
it's always better to hold the creditcard guy in the branch. In my case I'm in Kerala and there is only 1 person who looks after the entire kerala creditcard for yesbank. it's so strange, but he himself told me. So I got his nuber and bugged him like anything to get this appliation thru.
He told me he's overwhelmed by so many applications that he's not able to handle it himself, but unfortunate for him, he's the only guy in that team.
