In the above statement, refer the transactions for 22-Mar-2025, the Rs. 847.24 is an Airtel payment and the Rs. 1999 is an electricity bill payment. In this case, for the airtel transaction, I should have received Rs. 211.81 and Rs. 199.9 for the electric bill, however, I received Rs. 211 and Rs. 199 respectively, which means that I received Rs. 1.71 less. If we assume that Axis bank has rolled out 1 lakh cards at the very least, then this would work out to Rs. 171000.

Every card do this. Seen this in both APAY ICICI and SBI Cashback. Axis is no different.

It's clearly mentioned in their t&c

Uninstalled the latest .116 version. Downloaded and installed the .115 version from apkmirror. And voila! no usage fee. Paid electricity bill successfully.
Don't know how long it will work.
Also on latest version the usage fee is only applicable on electricity payment, so you can pay gas bill with usage fee and still get 10% cashback.

From where you download the app?? Is it from a third party link?

Paid electricity bill of Rs.1430 via Airtel app/cc and got charged Rs.17.70 as usage fee!
It was a long term game played by e commerce players to get us accustomed to online payment of all amenities. I remember when i was in 10th class 2010, till that time i had to go to counter and pay the bill in cash. at that time only irctc was the place where i used to pay online.
Gradually as the amazon came into picture and rajasthan govt introduced emitra for online payment of electricity and water this online game started and not it has come to this that we are seeking places where we can pay online and get rewards for the same. And now the same rewards are being tapered off. So net return would be somewhere near 8.76% upto Rs 250 per month.
