Devaluation Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card Devaluation w.e.f. 20th December 2024

What kinda devaluation u talking on Airtel
25% upto 250 pm on mobile recharge
U can recharge my number forget about new port airtel number 😁

Keep bank related sim as jio as calling banks is free & use Friday offer for jio
So newly ported numbers' aren't allowed to get this offer. I mean there's no benefit for me in that case.
What do you mean by calling banks is free???? Isn't it free for every other telecom prepaid connection or am i living under a rock.
Can you clarify this Friday Offer for Jio???

In case I don't activate the airtel card , do I still have to pay the joining fees????

FRC is done by agent who give u sim
That's not under 25%

Rest all recharge are be it new or old

Jio has free calling to banks number
Airtel has charges if you want to talk to customer care

Thank you so much at this hour. Helps a lot.

1. Would I get cashback on recharges for my newly ported Airtel numbers, or is it only for existing Airtel customers?
Yes you'll get cb on all recharge. Only first recharge done by sim seller isn't covered.
2. What exactly do they mean by ‘advance recharges’? Does it mean no cashback if I recharge just a few days/hours before my current plan ends? Do I always have to wait for my current plan to expire before recharging to get the cashback?
Not sure. I recently got the card for my mother. Will check later.
3. Should I Still go ahead and port my numbers, hoping the cc remains somewhat useful?
Its upto you. If you had plan to port to airtel anyway then it's better to activate the cc.
4. Should I Not activate the card at all? I think if I don’t activate it, it’ll eventually get auto-canceled for not activating within 30 days. Is it the case? And in that case do I pay the 590 Joining Fees ?
If you don't activate, theyll reverse the charges.

Thank you. Would you mind to update on the advance recharge part later on.

So, I just came across this thread about the devaluation of the Axis Airtel Credit Card, and now I’m wondering if I made a mistake. My Airtel Axis Card is already approved and dispatched, though I haven’t activated it yet. The ₹590 joining fee has already been charged in the statement.

The only reason Airtel made sense for me was the 25% cashback on recharges—otherwise, I’d just stick to Jio. I compulsorily use WiFi at home anyway, so I don’t really care about mobile data and want you know cost effective voice and sms packs with very minimal data when I am not home. My plan was to port all my family’s numbers to Airtel and save effectively on recharges using the cashback and even I sorted out

But now, with this situation, I don’t know if it’s even worth it.
