Airtel Axis card issued but not able to 'Activate card' in Airtel App

I received my Airtel Axis card a couple of months ago and have been using it without issues for normal transactions (even within Airtel App) and even get cashbacks as promised.
The issue however is the 'Credit Card' section of Airtel App says 'Activate Card - once created. we'll notify you. come back to activate the card and start using it' - see the attached picture for a better understanding of the issue.

Is anyone facing this and/or do you know how to solve it?
Please help resolve if possible. It's not the end of the world because I can still manage the card from Axis Bank app but it's just one of those irritating things and hoping Airtel app has a better way of tracking points etc.

I tried asking Airtel customer care but they were as useless as ever and completely disowned the feature where credit card options are visible. They wanted me to contact Axis Bank instead.
I didn't try contacting Axis yet because their card & app is working fine already and honestly don't think they'll be willing to help but will give it a try for lack of other options.

Did anyone else on this forum face similar issues. Have you tried using the feature in Airtel app?
 
Not as much but I don't know how this feature looks and one thing I miss the most is to look at the actual cashback (transaction vs. cashback) itemized list. Axis does not have it and they don't provide it either (according to customer care). Was hoping Airtel app may have something instead (not completely sure).

I also try to track manually as of now but it's cumbersome for the 10% CB for vendors like Zomato, Bigbasket etc. and that is leading to reduced CB/RP utilization because I noticed over spend for the category (considering the Rs.300pm capping). Was hoping Airtel app or some other section can show the actual. I like the way this works in AMEX - crystal clear, even in bonus points and almost real-time. Wish all banks maintained that level of transparency !

Capping for BIG BASKET/SWIGGY/ZOMATO is ₹500pm
 
Sorry.. you are right. It's 300+300+500 (Airtel 25% + Utilities 10% + Other special 10%) but I still spent over 5k in that category over the last two months (Zomato & BB) and want to avoid in future
 
Fast tag is under Recharge section in Airtel app but I'm not a 100% sure if we get cashback for non-Airtel fast tag recharges as well.
Recharging for Jio Prepaid mobile however does not give cashback as far as I recall
 
That's cool.. I checked again to be sure and noticed the option to apply 10% cashback is not available for non-Airtel prepaid numbers but good if you're still getting it.
