Airtel Axis card

Hi guys,
I am thinking of applying airtel axis credit card through airtel thanks app (FYF)
Has anyone faced any kind of issue in cashback .?
I have amazon pay card which I use for bill payments/recharges & a Millenia LTF which I use for swiggy/zomato

What's the process for this card ? I applied on Monday and did VKYC then itself and there it was mentioned I would know approval or rejection within 48 hrs. Still no update from axis 🤔🤔.

Also I applied from my brother's phone and I would be out of station from tomorrow till 1-2 months, so will it affect anything? Will the do physical kyc or they need to talk to me over phone before final confirmation like SBI does as I won't be able to talk as I would be far from my brother?

Don't rely on that timeframe, and you are not new to the forum. You know very well that Axis takes their own sweet time, and their online tracker is useless. The approval process varies from case to case; it might get approved without any verification, or they might go through the whole procedure, starting with verification and other steps. Since you will be away for a month or two, make sure someone is available to verify your work or place of stay as provided in your application form. 😉

Well my experience has been very fast with axis before two times, both times rejection and within couple of days😅😅. My parents will be available at place of stay so I guess that's fine

Give a maximum of 21 days. Some applications are approved/rejected quickly while some take time to get either approved or rejected.

Yes they take their own time after KYC. There won't be any updates on Airtel App, their job is done. You need to check your Credit Card status application status at Axis Bank - https://application.axisbank.co.in/...listing-page-credit-card-cc-track-application

So my card got approved today finally with low limit of 35k 😓😓.

I plan to use this to get other cards from axis eventually.

Btw axis also has cooldown for 6 months after issuance for LE with income docs like SBI ? (I couldn't verify with E-Income verification and I guess that's why they have given limit on cibil basis)

Yes, after 6 months you can approach them for LE.

If I apply online I get same limit and axis is not providing any LE offers except only loans.
You can apply as a new-to-bank customer to potentially get a higher limit for the Airtel Axis Card. However, there's also a chance that you might end up with a lower limit. 🤣 If you want a guaranteed higher limit, the only way is C2C via an offline route, provided they agree to process your application offline
