Devaluation All RBL Zomato Edition Credit Cards will be converted to RBL Shoprite Credit Card

I'm fine with low limit as spends won't exceed 10k-15k a month, although I'm bit worried about reward catalogue. I also went through their t&c and found out that
1. spends below 1k are not considered.
2. Max cashback per transaction= Rs 150
3. Max cashback per month= Rs 500

Hence might consider mrcc and redeem amazon vouchers via that way as I don't visit taj/marriot. But i closed my 8 year old amex payback card last month. Do you think they will approve my application?

Haan aaja. Amex ka cooloff is 3 months.
And one card doesn't really affect other card's application -- neither positively, nor negatively.

DM you the link -> first year free + 2k bonus + annual fee reduced to 1.5k which can be waived off.

As long as you've got 6k monthly spends online, you're getting about 5-6% return.
Upto 20k spends it's 4.5-5% what else would you need for your CC game😎

They replied this but as per @Chaitanya-a Reward value will be depreciated as if they are not going to give us extra reward points.

Just confirmed with customer care executive that they won't give extra cashback points to match Shoprite reward value.

That means the value of your edition cash would get depleted by 80%. Better redeem it for Zomato credits.

Right now as on 25 April 2023 I talked to customer care they confirmed that Edition Cash will be given as cashback not as reward points. So the the value will be same. Rs. 1 edition cash = Rs 1 Cashback. (Reward points and cashback will be different) I have recorded our call for future reference. 😛

I was thinking, why you guys discussing about extra reward points in previous posts !! Its just direct cashback.

2 days back, I was informed the same over the call...at 1:1 ratio cashback will be directly credited to Shoprite card statement. But its better to have the same info via Email as a proof.

I have raised Card closure request & then they convinced me for Shoprite but I said I will not close if they offer me LTF World Safari. In that call they refused & taken my request for card closure.

But again after 4-5 days, I received call from Retention Team, they offered me FYF Safari, I said I want it LTF. They keep it first year free, they are taking my request but if it won't they I can close it before completing year. But they assured me that it will be lifetime free.

Not worthy. Simply take Shoprite and keep it in your drawer for RBL specific offers only. None of the RBL card is good enough for regular use.
