American Express Credit Cards are getting approved for Non Serviceable Locations - (High Chances)

Hi TF Folks,

Amex is approving their cards in Tier 2, Tier 3 Cities and some rural Pin codes as per my experience. I have used referrals within family and friends and got approved.

Scenario 1: I have shared my Plat Charge Card Supplementary Card to my family member and they completed VKYC and their supplementary card got approved later on tried to apply individual Plat Travel card on their name and it got approved without VKYC as the VKYC is already done. (There was no CIBIL hit)

Scenario 2: As Scenario 1 worked I shared my referral link to one of my friend who comes in Tier 3 city of Andhra Pradesh and he doesn't have any Amex relationship or Supplementary card, he tried for MRCC card with my referral and it got approved for him.

In both the cases Aadhar location and Office location both are non serviceable locations and are from Tier 3 cities only.

Earlier Bestbanker was saying he can get Plat Cards (Plat Charge, Plat Travel, Plat Reserve) for Non Serviceable locations but Seems Amex is increasing their serviceable locations silently. Just try your luck. This is my experience but post your story if you guys are trying out.

Even though going to customers Nation wide, they are not getting merchants nationwide. 😂

Yes, He was able to do only for Plat Cards which I mentioned in my post. He was always best in supporting in many folks here. Now other cards are getting approved. (You can see MRCC also got approved).

One question.. i referred my frnd and the card got approved.so If he doesn't activate the card with in 30 days and ifnthe card gets de-activated will they deduct the referal bonus points from my account?

No experience on this. But usually they won’t debit referral bonus AFAIK.

They will not take back the referral bonus but I do not recommend doing this multiple times.

Some users have been caught exploiting the system and got their accounts blocked/referrals turned off.
The best way is to not mess with AmEx and only refer genuine people who are really interested in getting a card and will be using it! 🙂

Yes. Initially he was interested but now he is not so he said he won't activate it. so i said I'll pay the joining fees and he can deactivate next year

I just closed my amex gold charge as they didn't agree to make it free for 2nd year so no use of it.
