American Express Credit Cards are getting approved for Non Serviceable Locations - (High Chances)

Hi TF Folks,

Amex is approving their cards in Tier 2, Tier 3 Cities and some rural Pin codes as per my experience. I have used referrals within family and friends and got approved.

Scenario 1: I have shared my Plat Charge Card Supplementary Card to my family member and they completed VKYC and their supplementary card got approved later on tried to apply individual Plat Travel card on their name and it got approved without VKYC as the VKYC is already done. (There was no CIBIL hit)

Scenario 2: As Scenario 1 worked I shared my referral link to one of my friend who comes in Tier 3 city of Andhra Pradesh and he doesn't have any Amex relationship or Supplementary card, he tried for MRCC card with my referral and it got approved for him.

In both the cases Aadhar location and Office location both are non serviceable locations and are from Tier 3 cities only.

Earlier Bestbanker was saying he can get Plat Cards (Plat Charge, Plat Travel, Plat Reserve) for Non Serviceable locations but Seems Amex is increasing their serviceable locations silently. Just try your luck. This is my experience but post your story if you guys are trying out.

Strangely, despite having around 11 inquiries in the last 6 months (with 5 in the last 3 months), I still got approved for the card. Additionally, my office and home addresses are in different states, but since both are in serviceable locations, it wasn’t an issue at all.

Actually in jan-25 indusind has declined my credit card application i asked the reason they told many enquiries found in your cibil and amex has declined in dec-24 may be amex also declined due to enquiries.

I had a lot rejections and inquiries (Got 3 cards out of 11 enquiries) (rejection including from Amex) in last 6 months. Still things worked out with my application in Jan 2025. Got approved in 2-3 days. Just had to share my payslips and statements.

I had submitted my application on 9th feb with the help of @BestBanker and completed my vkyc and documents on 15th feb and waiting for approval.. I think physical verification will be there. Btw, my office address is in non serviceable and current address I updated in Aadhar since I recently shifted to serviceable location. Hoping it’ll get approved soon 🙌

Finally! Got my application approved, I never expected because my office is located in non serviceable location. No verification. @BestBanker got it approved internally somehow. All thanks to him, getting my first Amex 🙂🙌

Actually for Amex my aadhar address is not serviceable i gave the address of my company which is in serviceable area
But don't know why Amex declined

Originally not serviceable, but I got recently shifted to serviceable location temporarily. So with which I changed my Aadhar address, but my office address is in non serviceable Location which is much more important when applying first time I guess.

Yes, I had submitted my ITR with 7lakhs self employed and my CIBIL was 740 when I applied..

Probably my CIBIL is 740 but I have business secured loans that also might be a chance for my approval and my credit age is around 11 years.. but I don’t know how I got approved.

Yes I have done but my salary is under 4 L annually if they asked for income documents it will declined
