can you get LE on amex card without income docs, i have spent around 4-5 lac in past 4 months on mrcc.

Just got a LE on Amex Plat Travel from 4.3 L to 5L without docs. Stated annual gross income was 25L.

There's a Credit Risk Team whom you have to contact for LE, reachable via 1800 419 1230. This is different from the usual customer care number.

Although, customer care team can also tranfer your call to these specialist credit risk team.

It might happen that if you say some absurdly large figure from you last reported income, they might ask you for docs.

But some cases they may treat as exceptions not sure

Let's see I will ask for LE without my current income and based on my last year's income.

You will be fine..
No need to proivde any document to get LE..
In rare cases, where they conduct FR( Financial Review) in future ( this happens mostly in cases of Charge cards and that have very large transactions / or very high income stated) then they may ask for income docs..

In your case, as you have last year ITR and you asked for LE based on that , you are covered ina ny case..

But as of now, they dont ask anything. and there wont be any CIBIL also...

ENjoy Amex LE, if they provide you based on your last year ITR...

I hold Amex Gold (the major reason why they were unwilling to enhance the limit) and Platinum Travel. I have managed to spend close to 3.4L on Plat Travel in close to 6 months. I just called on the number mentioned on the website. That's it.

I hold gold and travel.
I spent 4L in 6 months. they denied limit enhancement on travel.

No they don't ask income docs, u have to say higher annual income. If u r eligible they say some limit, if u agree they will instantly increase it. If u r not satisfied with the said limit increase, then u can send income docs

I got platinum travel CC recently - got a limit of 1.5 lac, which is the lowest of my credit cards. I also have the Platinum charge card.

I asked for enhancement and then sent ITR but refused to increase the limit -perhaps they want me to spend on my charge card!
