Plat reserve is one of the worst cards by amex servers no purpose, at least used have to lounge access now even that is removed.

It does have Amex lounge access. Only Centurian lounges access not available.

It's 5k for first year. You get 15000 points in the first year ( If referal used). Amex lounges are different and this is only card which gives access apart from Platinum Reserve and Centurian. Amex lounges are much better for people using Metro airports. Second year fees can be negotiated.

Can someone confirm this ? I thought all Amex lounge access was revoked from Amex reserve.

Access to centurion lounges at Delhi and Mumbai were revoked for Platinum Reserve .
It still gets access to Amex lounges like Irish house Kolkata , 080 Bangalore etc
Plus it also gets 2 complementary golf .
Overall a decent card for 1st year with 15k Amex points, you can value Amex points at 50 paise .
So for 5900 payment you are getting 7500 worth of value

Amex points value can be multiplied if transferred to correct transfer partners
Like 15k Amex points can get you 1 night stay at Westin Himalayas , revenue goes for around 30-35k a night .

Which card is better between Amex MRCC and Gold Charge card (or any other Amex card) ?

The card which I mainly use are -
1. Axis Ace (for bill payments upto ₹10K and other offline uses)
2. SBI Cashback (strictly for online use)
3. SBI BPCL (for fuel)
4. RBL Valueplus supercard (for fuel upto ₹2500 p.m)

Major MONTHLY spends are -
1. Electricity bill payments of ~₹20000 per month (pm)
2. Offline spends of ₹25000 pm
3. Fuel spends of around ₹6000 pm
4. Online spends of around ₹7000 pm

I would prefer reward redemption in Amazon Pay vouchers rather than a luxurious hotel stay.

Gold card as it will give you points on Utility and Fuel spends. Also, 5x multiplier you can use on Amazon pay voucher and make electricity bill payments. Spend 1000x6 for bonus points . You can buy multiple Amazon vouchers to fulfill this criteria

I am not at home so will only check in evening.

Regarding MRCC -
I believe Fuel spends don't give MR points. However, are they eligible for 1500*4 and 20k overall spend for month milestones?

Also I usually fill from IOCL. Is it necessary to fill up from HPCL for surcharge waiver?

Me too, I will probably go for Amex trifacta..
Will be applying for Plat travel in a day or two..and later gold charge..It seems this gives a big bang for the buck...
