I value Amex points at 50 paise to the least .
So 8k points are approx 4000 Rs

If used correctly can give a value of 1-4 Rs

How to get value of 4 Rupees? can you share it please?

I have a query wrt to Amex gold charge. The offer states 2k points referral bonus which is same for almost all other cards on a spend of 5k within 90 days but also 4k points on payment of membership fee.

So basically after paying 1000+gst joining fee and spending 5k over and above the 5k spend required for 2k points as referral bonus we will get these 4k points right?

Order of events:

Spend 5k within 90 days to get 2k points(which i will do in a fews days itself so keeping it above the annual fee payment)

Pay the Annual fee (probably first statement)

Spend 5k more within 90 days

Correct me if I’m wrong!!

Or maybe it is just with spend of 5k in total for both 2k and 4k points??

Timeline:

Applied on 15th August early morning
VKYC 16th August Morning
Approved on 17th!!
