AMEX MRCC LTF

So I have the Amex Gold (paid) already.
I asked for MRCC companion and they denied, thereafter, I applied MRCC via referral and got delivered today.
I asked them for companion again and they said they don't offer, mentioned it's already 1500 instead of 4500.
If I don't activate the card for a while will they offer it as a companion?

MRCC can become companion to GC. If negotiated

But when I asked sometime ago. The CS rep informed me those offers are rolled out by the Marketing team and there is no current active offer like that.

Never heard of 2 Amex cards being LTF. But there can always be a first time. Do let us know if it happens 🙂

They used to offer to reduce the fee to 885, instead of 1770.
They never offered me any points.
I used to spend 72000 only

I think I paid the half price of 885 x 3 times and then I got fed up waiting so many months to accumulate 18000 points to get 7000 Amazon pay so I closed the card purposely and purposefully.

I expect that it will keep reducing

I cannot purchase amazon vouchers from gytar, because server times out always.
