AMEX Plat Travel Taj Voucher

Hi TFC,

I recently completed my 4L milestone with Plat Travel and have been waiting for the Taj Voucher.

I noticed that different people received their Taj Vouchers at different time. Some people got it in two weeks, Some even got it within 3 days.

AMEX support says it will take 30 days.

I was wondering if AMEX sends this on some particular days. If you could comment which date you received the voucher, Maybe I can find when will I receive it.

Have same question? I plan to use plat 10k +40k taj gv from amex to stay at taj agouda Goa.
I see within week time rates are 20-26k If i call then will i get member rate..there is difference of 3-4k per night between standard rate and member rate

I dont think member rates are applicable to GV's.

within a week of completing mileston you should receive voucher. its validity is approx. 1 year

For me the voucher got mailed after I reached out to them for the bonus points after completing 4l

To make things clear :

1. Issue of Plat Travel 10k 4L milestone voucher : You are supposed to get the voucher within 10 working days from system recognizing that you completed milestone. Since last 5 years i have received within 3-4 days but this time around its been 13 days but 9 working days and i have not received yet.
2. Validity : is 360 Days exact from date of issue
3. Revalidation : extension of expired voucher used to happen on regular basis for 3 months. I have done it thrice. but this time around they have a clear stand not to do it. Later on insistence, they did do it for me as an exception.
4. using for standard rate vs member only rate : I have used it at 3 Properties Vivanta panjim, taj newtown kolkata & thrice at Gateway Vizag. All the time on standard rate (booked over call with informing that vouchers to be used) and it was used to settle room rent (including extra person) & dinner without any hustle. Even though many have mentioned that they have used it for bookings at discounted rate and settled against room + food + spa, i dont have first end experience of the same. i was skeptical about it but will try doing it next time around
