Amex Referral Devaluation

Its devaluation for so called influencers not for genuine users. This referral bonus started 2years before. Before that also there are customers using amex. Not sure why this is devaluation

MRCC becomes chargeable at 4.5k instead of 1st year free and 1.5k from 2nd year onwards via referral ye devaluation nahi hai kya.

Platinum Travel was being issued first year free via referral ye devaluation nahi hai kya.

They should atleast give LTF once more actually!!

LTFs were offered when there was no demand and people weren't ready to pay any money.

Now, people are excited and they received crazy number of applications with FYF, and now reduced but still fair bit of applications with the fees.

The most I believe they would go back to is FYF(that too depending on the different in card applications), I doubt LTF will ever come back.

Very true.. it is a rare occasion that Amex brings in ltf cards. I only remember twice they came out mrcc and once travel plat

One of my ex bosses has Plat Travel as LTF! He said he got it when they converted his Jet airways credit card after discontinuing it. He is using the card still now.

Besides amex gives good retention offers to people who spend good amount on their cards, I've been getting 50% off on my Plat Travel for last 2 yrs coz I've spent 4L every yr

Yup, call about a month before your renewal is up

U nees to reach out to care for 50% fee else you would be charged full annual fee. Once u r statement shows annual fee call care and negotiate. Even I have been paying 50% for past 3 years. They will give you option 10k points if u pay full fee else 50% fee reduction without points 3rd some times they say fee reversal if you spend 2lakhs or one lakh in a month or 2 for some it is 2 mk the and some 1 month spend criteria for reversal of fee.
