He guys I got an upgrade offer for a Platinum charge card, I am requesting your help or suggestions what to do in the 2025 case as per the new pdf.

I need your help in deciding what to do.

Just call Amex support to close the card (don't activate the card)

I think it gets canceled automatically if not activated in 37 days but with a card with 78k fee, I don't think i would take that risk.

Also, why did you apply if you didn't want the card? I don't think the referrer will get the points unless you pay the fee

Applied to get the referral points for the referrer i.e. 35k which are credited as soon as the card got approved
No I don’t want to pay the joining fee
