Ha ha doing same thing. But travelling to Delhi part is not there for me.
I got the card, what do you want to know?
I tried clicking the upgrade link in the emai. I was expecting online upgrade but I just got a form to select the card to upgrade. I have only one Amex card, so selected it and received an email saying

I upgraded with 1.5L offer when i asked them for extra 10k ( just trying luck ) they asked me send the mail received by any one from friends and family , and they may match the same for me

In offer terms and conditions they have mentioned that 10000 unique voucher will be sent to registered mail by 28th June 2025.
I have taken screenshot from this post. It's there on PDF. I haven't received any communication regarding 10000 voucher for me. I only got 1,50,000 MR Points.
I accepted the upgrade offer on Thursday morning but haven't heard anything so far.
Hoping to hear something on Monday. Is it common for Amex to not have any communication at all for many days.
yes monday u should get a call and mail. once u do the vKYC they should take another 2 days to dispatch the card. and mostly by Saturday you should get the card if you r in a metro city

90% only vKYC with ur original Pan Card. Since its a upgrade

I asked Amex customer service about lounge access for 3 at DEL / BOM centurion lounges using a primary and a supplementary card, essentially:
Myself (primary card holder) with my daughter (12 years old) as a guest and
My wife (supplementary card holder) herself
The guy was absolutely sure that access is only for 2 persons at DEL / BOM lounges and then he checked with the team and said in India, the lounges maybe ok as my daughter is still minor, but globally only 2 pax.
From the lounges page on amex website link here it sounds like we should have access for all 3 for DEL/BOM. Most internationallocationsseem to allow 2 guests for India plat card, but now that the doubt is raised, can anyone share any relevant experience

Got a call today. Application was very basic, took about 10 minutes (would have been less than 5 minutes if I was doing it on a computer but I was doing it on the same phone were I was on call with Amex).
I didn't have my PAN on me so vKYC is still pending, which I will do tonight.
Did the kyc this morning, tried on then phone but I couldn't hear the rep. Worked fine from laptop.
Took less than 5 mins for kyc.
The lady said I should get the card in 9-10 days worst case. I think I should get the card this week is early next week.

Update. The guy called me and told me that the card was approved today and should get dispatched tomorrow (need 1 day for minting). He also confirmed that I have Kaizen offer (15k yatra vouchers on buying tickets worth 1L from Amex travel services). He said I can use Kaizen twice until end of Feb.
Anyone knows if I can buy multiple tickets to hit the 1L. For example in our next US trip, we will need tickets going to multiple cities for the family of 3. The tickets will be like SFO-Vegas-Phonenix-Chicago-Orlando-Boston. Neither of the segment will be 1L itself but together they will easily cross 2L.
If I break the tickets for example like
Ticket 1 (about USD 1200):
SFO-LAS x 3 pax
LAS-PHX x 3 pax
PHX0-MDW x 3 pax
Ticket 2 (about 1500 USD):
MDW-MCO x 3 pax
MCO-MHT x 3 pax
MHT-JFK x 3 pax
Will I be able to claim Kaizen offer twice and get 30k yatra vouchers?

You need to book two tickets more than 1 lakhs to avail the offer. I have availed this offer thrice (because it was running last year too), and was offered three vouchers worth 5k each of easemytrip once, then three vouchers of 5k each of Yatra.com. Post your ticket journey completion of 1 lakh, you will get vouchers within 60 days as they don't send it immediately.
