AMEX Smart Earn Devaluation!

Main usage was Amazon 10x and they removed that. What's the use now ?
Will close it before renewal next year.
They made their basic card useless now.
You can get 2.5% value back on net zero for loading paytm wallet and paying credit card bills
Naykka is a good option but if you have gold card it;s useless

Else no benifit on this card 🙁

Even with Az, there are better cards and deals than Amex SE. SE was also limited in the number of bonus points one could earn, with 10X capped at 500 across Az/FK. While it is a devaluation, it's not that huge, not for me at least. FK and Uber are still 10X, some new merchants are added, Zomato has exclusive 10X, which might assist some with smaller orders where other cards offers wouldn't kick in...Az 10X to 5X is sad, but Az was not an original 10X vendor in the first place, only got added on later, so I always considered it a bit of a bonus. Shame, but as a free card, it's still OK for me.
Sure there may be ones slightly better for az but the smart earn’s 10x points meant direct 5% returns as statement credit and if used for vouchers or transfers then much more. This beat most of my other cards and since I didn’t have very high transactions on AZ the limit wasn’t an issue. Btw which cards work better on AZ ?

Starters Millennia and Cashback. More .. if premium/super premium cards.

Amex SmartEarn is getting changed from 1st Nov-23 as per email from Amex. Does anyone know what this make over is?
