Amex Spending Power

I was trying this amex spending power utility for my gold charge card.

its showed declined even for 2000, does that mean i cant spend above 2000?

Yes - ask them to transfer to this specific Team - they will take the request and provide LE - card should be min 6 months old.

I currently have 10 lakhs, that's the maximum I can check anything above that isn't allowed to be checked the submit button is greyed out, till few months ago it was 15 lkhs

This is a glitch in their systems where if you have any Transaction settings turned off , For eg: International transaction, then it will show a very low Spending Power. Turn On all your transaction setting and try again, You'll see the actual Spending Power approved for your card. I recently found this on call with an Amex Agent when I was trying to make a high value purchase.

You can check your spending power and turn off the settings once again. The setting do not actually affect your actual spending power. It only messes up with the “Spend analyzer” on Amex’s website

Please enable all transactions and then check your spending power (Domestic+International).

No need to check and spend
If u r doing big purchases above 50k ping cc from app and say ur spend amount they will enable and confirm u

didn't work. maybe due to new card. Not getting 500 rs. approved but am able to make 5K transactions. haha

As it is Gold card is a waste. Just 1K / month

It might be technical issue as I have tried it multiple time.

Is checking spending power for higher amounts a negative thing?

The card is new, 1st 3 months it will not show. The transactions will however go through. After 3 months it will get updated

are you sure about 3 months?
