Amex Taj voucher at Rs 0.5 per MR point ?

HI

I have read that we get taj voucher at Rs 0.5 per point , if we get amex platinum charge/travel credit card - But i have this charge card , it doesn't show 0.5 value ?

is it only for 18K and 24K gold collection. ?can anyone pls let me know


In screenshot as you can see, it is either 0.4 or 0.25 value.

Postcard hotels are worth their price? Any experience?
No one seems interested to redeem for those hotels or buy their gift vouchers

It’s a boutique chain so first hand accounts are handful.

What’s the best way to redeem
1. Redeem Taj voucher and sell it here? (What’s the going rate on TF?)
2. Transfer to Marriott and sell Marriott points (What’s the usual rate for selling this, and how to sell?)
3. Redeem 8k Amazon (simplest and easiest way)
4. Any other option?

Best would be transfer to Marriott and sell at 1 pt = 0.45 - 0.5 Rs

To me Amazon pay looks hassle free. If one has use for Tata cliq, that is little better. I accumulated 1.6l points ..till now find no use of MRs. Now decided to redeem all for Amazon pay and close mrcc and travel both. Even have 2 10k taj vouchers.. milestones from travel, which again found not much use as twice I tried booking but both times found standard rates for using Taj voucher 25-30% higher. Maybe will have just one day weekend stay to burn those 2 vouchers.

Amex Taj vouchers are now accepted on member rates also... this change happened few days back. You can find more info on this on TF itself

When did this happen? I could not see any such discussion on TF. T&C with voucher itself says it can be used for all publically available rates Not member rates. And I made booking 3months back, they specifically asked if making booking by Amex voucher and when said yes quoted standard rate ..I refused. Checked at Hotel desk also on checkout they did not accept saying booking at member rates.
