Annual Fee reversed for Neu Infinity Card (Jan 2025)

Hello Guys,

FYI post, recently got charged with Annual fees (1499 + 269 GST) on my Neu Infinity Card as spends criteria was not met for auto fee waiver.
Requested customer care to close the card since I already hold Infinia & DCB; but bank offered fee reversal as one time gesture. But declined request for conversion to LTF card.

Fee got reversed after 4 days of request, waiting for GST part to be reversed now.

I requested them to covert existing tata neu infinity to LTF as they are running campaign. Reached out to two levels but no positive outcome. At first level, they said there is no such offer and I had to share their website screenshot 😕

They are not willing to convert paid cards to LTF and I notice this restriction is there for Co-Branded cards.
I tried for both Swiggy & Tata Neu but rejected & proceeded with Swiggy card closure.

They mentioned the fees of the card is basis agreement with partner (Swiggy or Neu) at the time of issuance and cannot be changed.
There may still be exception for people who get their card converted to LTF.

I had Swiggy as well along with this three, which I have recently got closed due to annual fees & also already managed to get LTF swiggy card for a member in family !!

They need business, I understand that. But this does not digest well with me that they are offering as LTF to anyone new applying in that time frame but no, we don't convert to LTF for existing card holders.
