Any Tips to Squeeze Out Final Benefits Before Cancelling My Flipkart Axis Credit Card?

Recently I got SBI CB CC. So now Flipkart AXIS CC has no use for me and I am going to cancel it before the renewal date. So is there any trick that I can try to get some benefit with the risk of getting this card closed? (I won't mind). Like requesting for making it LTF or Edge rewards?

(BTW today Axis called me to upgrade my Only Axis LTF card (IOCL) to some Privilage CC (With 1500rs ) )

I wont suggest Privilege, offers literally nothing.

Keep your IOCL LTF and if you can get Flipkart LTF then great, or maybe you can keep that for offers if you shop on Flipkart.

I was astonished by their offer. They could have offer upgrade on my other two Paid Axis CCs. But they decided to Upgrade my LTF CC to paid. 😂😂😂

This is a trick that you requested--
Request for some retention benefit and they will give you 2500 points for FREE.
You can even threaten to close it, because any way you want to close it.

AFTER GETTING THE POINTS YOU CAN STILL CLOSE IT

So! After getting retention benefits I can still close the card😂. I thought that they will give the points after the annual renewal

Got charged this month for FK axis, atlas, and ace on 2 accs. Any retention offer I can expect? Squeezed 40K+CB so won't mind paying but since it's axis wanna bulge whatever I can..

Axis has already gave you dil khol ke cashback. It's time to pay buddy else devaluation incoming.

Jokes apart, calling customer care is the only option. You can also try emailing, but calling is quicker.

Try calling customer care.


I messaged them at first. But they are desperate to retain you only on call. Try your luck. But at present they aren't giving any Gift Vouchers

Spoke to Axis CC Customer for more than half an hour to convert Flipkart Axis to LTF or reverse the annual fee atleast!

They are adamant. Even after telling my friends got the same card LTF 2 years ago. Even after telling I hold the card for close to 7-8 years.

Axis be like: "Jhukega nahi saala!"

Any good reason to continue on Flipkart Axis Card with Rs.500 + Tax despite devaluation on all benefits listed below
  • Decreased cashback on all offline spends from 1.5% to 1%
  • Removed 5% on Flight & Hotel on Flipkart
  • Removed Myntra 5% cashback
  • No 10% instant discount on sale period for Flipkart Axis Card
  • Annual fee waiver criteria increased to 3.5L

Nope better to cancel it, swiggy hdfc is way better

Only Benifit is Unlimited 5% CB on Flipkart.
Only resellers can get this benefit. Otherwise SWIGGY HDFC OR SBI CASHBACK
