Hotel Points Any way to transfer MR points or Marriott Bonvoy points to Accor Points?

Off late, when I try to book Marriott property by points, rates of almost all good hotels seem way inflated even when trying to book months in advance.
Accor for me is offering much better value with their straightforward conversion.
I have a lot of MB and Amex MR points. Is there a way to convert these to Accor points at a decent conversion rate?

Accor is the main international rival of Marriott.
So it is not possible to convert Marriott points into Accor or vice versa.

If they were smart, Accor would have offered a very exploitative conversion rate, like 6 Marriott points for 1 Accor point.
This would not only be profitable for Accor, but would also undermine the value of the competitor's points

As far as I know, the best would be to convert 120k MB to JAL which would give you 50k JAL and then convert to Accor which will give you 20K Accor. So 6: 1 ratio which is a waste of MB points.

One more thing. This only holds true if you transfer 120k at once. Else, the conversion rate may drop lower.

American Express Membership Rewards® members may convert their MR into Reward points of ALL – Accor Live Limitless, Accor’s loyalty programme.

To do this, the American Express Membership Rewards® member must be a member of ALL – Accor Live Limitless programme. In order to be considered a member of ALL – Accor Live Limitless programme, you need to have a valid ALL – Accor Live Limitless membership Card.

MR may only be transferred from a American Express Membership Rewards® member account to this member's associated personal and nominative account in ALL – Accor Live Limitless programme.

After conversion, the converted Reward points are added to member's ALL – Accor Live Limitless Reward points balance and can be redeemed according to ALL – Accor Live Limitless programme rules.

2. Points are converted as follows:​

3.5 MR = 1 ALL Reward point

The points conversion described above is done manually through member's American Express Membership Rewards® account.

But then, these points are just like printing their own currency at will, without any control.
And then selling it to banks and others for real money.
