Anyone got DCB under alumni offer without income docs?

Hi,
A guy from alumni committee told me under diners alumni offer we can get cc without income docs also...
1. Millenia for students
2. Dcp without docs for alums graduated more than 3years ago
3. Dcb without docs for alums graduated more than 6 years ago.

Last year I had talked to central region cc head, he referred me to his guy who approves these request. He told me there is no offer like this without income docs.

Now from last 10-15 days, ch and bm are after me for funds. I told them I'll transfer back to hdfc if they manage to get me dcb/infinnia. As a self employed individual, my itr is no where near the criteria. 😅

As approval base cc are on hold, alumni offer is only way. They are telling me if I give them a reference of a customer/rm who has got dcb without income docs, they can do it for me too. For some reason, they seem little motivated this time.

If you know someone who got it this way, please let me know. Bhala ho jayega tumhara, ashirwad milega. 😆

Itr is for salaried. No point in being self employed and paying 40% tax. Ca/lawyer ask for much lesser than what Vasuli Tai wants. 😝

Afaik only ltf dcb pvc was replaced with fyf dvb metal in 2023. Ask your alumni coordinator.

It will math up when you realise that leaving a safe job, and starting your thing has its own rigours. By the way I am an IIT Kharagpur graduate who left a job of 80LPA in 2020. FYI - no offence taken 🙂

Dcb alumni offer has been discontinued from October 2023.. per hdfc bank.

In my experience, most 1st gen business owners who are at least in their 30s, don't get offended easily, especially when money is involved. That's because they have done everything (& I mean everything) to keep their business alive. They tend to develop very thick skin. Salaried people would never understand it( only exception is sales people in a b2c company with bad culture )

You want to offend them, target their competency/ intelligence/smartness. 😋 won't you agree? @Finchamp!

Yeah this is a vwry standard requirement of the product itself even if you dont go via alumni route.

I had a chat with central region cc head last month. At least Dcbm fyf and dcp ltf alumni offer is still active.Dcb pvc ltf was withdrawn because the product itself was discontinued. This thread isn't about that.

It requires same income criterion as per product feature. But I got to know sometime back from alumni team that there is another provision under alumni offer wherein alums>3yr & >6yr can get dcp and dcb without income docs. Most people in cc dept also don't know about this. Only by showing precedent, rest can get it aswell.

This was the motive behind the thread to find an customer/rm who have got it without docs through this provision.
