Anyone got HDFC Core Card as a Second Card after having HDFC Tata Neu card as their first ever (Debut) Card

Want to know if anyone got (either thru pre approved / online/ offline) a HDFC core card like regalia, Millinea etc as their 2nd card after having the Tata Neu Card as their first ever card?

If anyone got a card like this, then it would be contrary to the following HDFC's advice in response to my question regard the same subject matter...

I am in the same boat. I have a swiggy ltf been trying for regalia gold. I checked with 2 offline hdfc agents and they both asked me to close swiggy card and apply.

I am not doing because Atlas is my primary go to card and I dont want to miss out on the 1500 cashback I receive every month.

Open paytm and check if u r eligible for freedom credit card
If it's visible in the list apply for it later u can req for upgrade

if u want to apply for cobranded cards like swiggy, TNI thru their respective apps - No cooldown period u can apply immediately

if u've applied for any card(core/co-branded) and once ur applic is submitted - u can't apply for any cards thru their website for atleast 3-6 months or even more HDFC works in mysterious ways

Exception:
freedom card was offered as LTF till dec 16th but they r offering it now as FYF in paytm and u can apply for this card even if u have cobranded card before - try ur luck

ok, I'd suggest u take the TNI LTF for now and use it for 6 months then req for upgrade to any core card
or if u want to take risk don't activate the card, it will be automatically closed.

I just checked and now this is shown on my Xpressway page but it obviously isn't letting me apply since I already did for the TNI. I wrote an email to PNO to approve Millenia instead as I had mistakenly applied for TNI. Is there anything else I can do?

Wait for their reply u can't do anything right now
If u receive TNI don't activate it ask them to convert hdfc TNI to millennia

Yes it is there, but what is the point of taking if I dont use it. Upar se join fee bhi do.

Avoid pixel cards - not much beneficial
Till 16 dec 2024 the freedom card was offered as ltf but now it's fyf this card is also not a grt option but it will create a path to upgrades gradually
