APay Credit Card – Statement Date Change Issue

Hi everyone,


I have an APay Credit Card, and its statement generation date was originally on the 12th of each month.


On 30th October, I called the customer care team to change my statement date to the 2nd of each month, as I was unable to do it through the app (it kept showing a “Something went wrong” message).


The CC executive confirmed that the date was successfully changed and assured me that I would receive my next statement by 2nd November. I later checked and verified that the statement date had indeed changed from 12th to 2nd in the app.


However, today is 3rd November, and I still don’t see any bill generated. The due date shown in the app is still 30th October (the old due date).


I again contacted the support team, but they seemed clueless and just asked me to wait for one more day.


Can anyone confirm —
👉 Am I missing something here?
👉 Or will the new statement cycle only take effect from next month?


I’m asking because I need to know whether I should go ahead and pay the bill now or wait for the updated statement.
