How to Apply for new Indusind Credit card if closed a indusind credit card in past

In Indus, if customer ID generated once, you can't apply online. Offline is the only route.

Info: Customer ID created when we open any kind of relationship with that bank (Loan, Card, etc.) and it stays forever and linked to PAN.
 
I closed indusind card in August
Tried applying this month but getting an error

It was showing application already exists with mobile no.
I mailed Indusind, who fixed the 1st error and I was able to apply but Im getting mobile number is already linked to different credit account error.
Its been more than 20-25 days and 5-6 mail exchanges and theyre still asking for more time to resolve the issue.

Basically, IndusInd software systems are stone aged and it seems they are too scared to touch them to upgrade…

I have been in touch with them but they ask for more time every time
 
I have not faced this issue with IndusInd bank. I had applied for IndusInd credit card online in 2022 and closed the card in first quarter of 2023. Then I had applied for another credit card in the last quarter of 2023 and the credit card application went through successfully with the same PAN and mobile combination. Card got approved with much higher limit the second time. However, 2 different CIFs are generated for me with the same PAN and mobile combination. It doesn't bother me as I have no intention to open IndusInd bank account or to apply for any other IndusInd bank product.

I might not do this but can we complain to RBI if Indusind is taking 50+ days to resolve the cc application issue when applying again after old one is closed

nope. its bank discretion to approve/reject your application. we can go onlly if we not received proper reason for decline. You got it, now you have to resolve it. Obviously branch visit, and finding that credit person will do the job even faster now since we're FY end. Try once.

FYI: Some banks you shouldn't rely on email to resolve issues, ex: Indus - Here, branch plays more important role than online.

In Indus, if we had relationship earlier (whether still open or closed), online not possible most of the time.

You need to visit the branch to reapply otherwise you won't be able to apply again
