First devaluation of 2025.

AU LIT Credit Card has suddenly reduced the benefits of four very important features by about 50%.

1. Apparel Spends 199/- +GST (90 days) now onwards will earn maximum cashback of Rs. 500/- per 30 days cycle. (Earlier it was Rs. 1000/- per 30 days cycle)
2. Also, Grocery Spends 299/- + GST (90 days) now onwards will earn a maximum cashback of Rs. 500/- per 30 days cycle. (Earlier it was Rs. 1000/- per 30 days cycle)
3. Milestone cashback 2% 199/- + GST (90 days) now require a minimum spends of Rs. 15,000/- in each 30 days cycle. (Earlier minimum spend requirement was Rs. 10,000/-)
4. Milestone cashback 5% 299/- +GST (90 days) now require a minimum spends of Rs. 10,000/- in each cycle. (Earlier minimum spend requirement was Rs. 7,500/-)

Just last month, in December 2024, AU LIT has restricted the monthly wallet load limit to 10% of the credit limit.

AU has not yet informed it's customers regarding the devaluation.

Those who have active features please activate to auto renewal.

You cannot get cashback if the MCC code is not apparel, regardless of what you have bought

Is there anything I can do for it?
Like it's not a issue from my side what MCC the merchant gives even though they have a clothing store and I did buy it.

I told you there is nothing you can do about it.
have a heart for the guy who bought an expensive car and got ZERO points.
What is worse, he had to pay 1.18% fuel surcharge, because the car dealer had a fuel MCC code

You need to transact rupees one, phone customer care and find out the MCC code and make sure it is eligible to get points or cashback.
then decide whether or not to pay

You can go one step further and request the shopkeeper to reverse the transaction and then pay with another card which will get you points or cashback

With AU LIT and the appropriate features activated, you could have got 2% cb and 2% points on offline transaction irrespective of apparel or not.

It's very easy. Open in app. Open features, Then click on individual features. Then look at bottom right corner. U will find a slider. That's it.

Just checked. It's still there for me for old plans (3 active plans).

As u said, may be they removed it for their new plans only. I can't confirm that at this moment. Thanks for informing. U can cross check too.

May be I gonna notice it tomorrow. Because this time I got auto renewal email for 10x but not for 2%. Similar things may occur for my grocery feature due for renewal next week. 🤔

Yes I am aware of that, but I forgot to turn on 10X rp and now my most of the shopping is done.
I am using 2% cashback and 5% apparel.

Yes. They did not renew the 2% feature even though I kept auto renewal on.

Those who already have added features can see similar features ready for addition like I have Grocery 299/- +GST for 1000 monthly, Now, I can add 299/- +GST for 500 monthly as well. Probably same rules apply for apparel also.

No. Old one vanished automatically after 90 days. It will run parallel till the previous one get closed automatically.

In new features, no auto-renewal.
