But 2% will be given for all other merchants except accelerated ones. So you won't be getting cashback after ₹500 at all from Gpay bill payment.
I think gpay utility transactions will count for 2% unlimited even after 5% 500 as gpay is not in excluded category.

Not in excluded category but they've mentioned that this Cashback is for 'all other merchants'.
Yes but utility is still included in 2%, I've paid fast tag of icici in cred using axis ace and have gotten 2%, so if you exhaust 5% 500 cap, you can still pay outside gpay for 2% unlimited. Even icici pay has 2% but the amount is stuck in Amzaon, gpay will give you cb to your credit. Which is kinda better?

So the difference between Axis Flipkart and ACE in respect to other murchants will remain only 0.5% apart from bill through gPay. I pay my electricity bill through Airtel CC, whether should I still wait for this card?
The most important category which is excluded in Flipkart and included in ACE is Utilities category. Most of the sites are classified as Utility (ex- Airtel, Jio, simpl, cred etc) for which Flipkart card does not give anything.

Plan your bill payments upto 10k on gpay .. after that switch to amazon or cred or simpl etc for 2% cb
