Axis Ace Offer on Gpay declined

Today I received an offer for Axis Ace Credit Card on Gpay but when I tried to apply, I received a message that since I am an existing customer of Axis Bank, I can only apply through bank website...
And then the offer became unavailable for me...

Axis will mention reason in their rejection email, like duplicate application, insufficient information etc.
HDFC will also tell the reason if we ask and they will reconsider the application if it's in Curable status.
SBI credit card rejection reason can get by contacting their credit card sales team (the person who arrange for physical KYC or you can contact your local credit card department).
AU bank will not tell the reason by email as per their guide lines. If you force PNO team, then they will call you and tell the reason.
These are my / friends personal experience.

I just called customer care and they told that my card is approved and it will be dispatched within 10 days. But no update on the app or cc tracker yet.

Bro, cc tracker can't found my details, so I went to axis support website ... "CHAT WITH AGENT"

It asks us our mob no. & email to login, it doesn't have access to non customer. So I got in ask chat agent she said approved. But can't share anything bcoz security BS.

Then I called customer care they said it's in eligibility check.


Moral - you never know with Axis.

Axis works in weird way. When I check status online it's saying no application found. And when I talk to customer care, they are saying it's in eligibility check right now.

After going through this thread, I applied yesterday late evening thru Axis app. Instantly approved. Shared limit with my existing Airtel n KWIK cards. Digital/virtual card immediately visible. Activated it.
Today, got email/SMS informing me about the approval n card generation for despatch. RS 499/- plus GST charged. It will be reversed if I spend 10K in the first 45 days. Easy for me....

That's what my conclusion, and also ask chat agent and Ivr. They all said approved.
But you know where it's coming from after this many rejection 😂
