Axis Atlas Journey

I had three axis credit card.

Axis Flipkart 1.25 lkhs
Axis Ace - 50k
Axis Vistara Infinite - 75k

I wasn't getting any credit limit Enhancement since good 1 year.

Wrote to axis pno to remove limit from each card didn't do that, stating companies policy. Then I sent my salary slips to review my credit limit. They just made both the cards limit to 1.25 lkhs but nothing great.

With this I cancelled my Axis Flipkart card and I remember someone said in this group that Airport guys somehow get us a good approval/limit. Applied from Airport for Axis Atlas, I wasn't sure if I should apply using my salary slip or Credit cars statement as I had given them the salary slip just a week ago and they just matched it with highest credit limt of other axis card. Airport guy suggest as your organization is in top list of ours we suggest go with Salary slip but I wanted to be rational and I thought it wouldn't have helped and hence went with HDFC credit limit if 2,85,000. Post 3 days my card has been approved with 3 lkhs limit.

Airport trick worked (maybe it's not actually true but has worked for a lot of people I know)

Usually many users reported the same that Airport credit card applications approves faster with higher limits and higher variants. But there is no thumb rule that it approves that way. Anyways congratulations. usually users tend to apply in C2C method in Airports so the chances are high in limits and variants of the card.

With 1.5L fixed/basic sal per month you'd get approved for sure
Yes Magnus criteria is 18L ITR per annum. So you should have got Magnus with the Airport team. You missed the option, anyways if you have the option or opinion to change the existing any of the Axis card, don't upgrade the card. Close the existing card and apply for Magnus ( Magnus as on date is the best card in the industry if you hit 1L spends per month - as of now Insurance and Fuel included.)

I had a salary slip of 1.9 lkh for last month but I was a recent hike and I didn't know if they wanted last 3 or only 1. Maybe would apply magnus 6 months down the line.
I was asked for only one month

Would ask my father for how many months it was required

Also you can just edit the salary slip to change months (not recommended and only if your salary account is not with axis)

One month's salary slip is more than sufficient to apply. Even you can apply in weeks' time if you want. No time limit for the axis to apply for a new card. I got two cars within 2 months

Yes I had a word with the Axis Airport guys, they said I can get magnus. I am thinking should I get or not. I won't be hitting 1 lakh milestone though.

Someone said that I can by calling as well, wondering how, last I knew it was 4 lakh limit needed.

I don't think hitting 1L milestone is as important as using EdgeReward multipliers

Let me do some research on this and see if it makes sense to give up Ace which has flat 2% cashback on everything including utilities and 5% on gpay utility over Magnus. I don't want to unnecessary increase my spent just because of this axis edge.
