Exclusions:

  • Atlas: Jewlry, Rent, Govt., Insurance, Fuel, Utilities, Wallet

  • Regalia Gold: Rent, Govt., Wallet
  • TravelOne: Jewlry, Rent, Govt., Insurance, Fuel, Utilities, Wallet, Education

Net Return:

Ranges in percentage (e.g., 9.4% to -0.27%) explain best-to-worst-case returns (possible return on your spending after factoring in joining fees, and milestone bonuses for specific spending levels).
  • Left Value (e.g., 9.4%)
    • This is the maximum reward rate achievable through optimal usage, like earning on Travel Edge purchases and redeeming at a high value (e.g., 1 mile = 2 INR). This rate takes effort but can be reached with strategic spending.
  • Right Value (e.g., -0.27%)
    • This is the minimum achievable rate through regular spending and basic redemption (e.g., 1 mile = 1 INR). This is straightforward and possible for all cardholders.
  • So, for any given spending amount, you can expect a reward rate between these two values. The lower end is your minimum return, while the upper end is achievable with careful planning.

Recommendations:

  1. Horizon: Best for generic spends, especially below ₹3L annually.
  2. Atlas: Optimal for heavy spenders and best when redeeming through 1:2 MP for travel/hotel partnerships.
  3. Regalia Gold: Balanced choice for spending up to ₹7.5L with milestone benefits. Redemptions available for non-travel too.
  4. TravelOne: Horizon better compared to this card.

Note: Redemption options high in Regalia Gold compared to Atlas/Horizon. And do note above values assumed if user redeemed those vouchers (that means user ok with that redemption) or transferred those miles to those programs (that means user aware those available programs) when applying these cards.

It seems no mention about fuel surcharge waiver in HDFC Regalia Gold. So, double check before using card but milestone benefits applicable on fuel spends too.

DM for referrals / check signature.

2500 EDGE Miles shall be credited to cardholders’ EDGE Miles account upon successful completion of 1 transaction on the card within 37 days from the date of card issuance Note: This will be applicable for all cards sourced from 20th April 2024 onwards.
So regalia gold is best for Smartbuy and for general offline and travel spend, Atlas is better....Ok got it...I have regalia gold LTF and applied for atlas but the status is not moving at all

Hi! Is 5x i.e 20 points for 150 spent valid on flight booking only on smartbuy or other portals also.

On atlas , if i have to redeem points for non partner airlines like indigo, then for me 1rp = 1rs during booking flight, and is there a limit on how many rp can be used in 1 txn or % of total txn that can be redeemed using rp like we have in hdfc?

min. 300, max -- never tested. Also, its 100% as of today but no guarantee after month.

@drsel any idea about max limit for direct booking?

Im sorry but trying to understand, what would be the value of each mp at partner website, like for eg. for a 5k flight, i need 7k mp, for 1 rs i need 2 mp, is these a fixed conversion for this?

1MP = 1Rs. when booked through travel edge, direct flights.. like for 5k flight you'll redeem 5k MP. Its not partner website, its 'traveledge'. (Its like the way you used 0.5 for your hdfc calculation)
