Axis Bank Auto debit didn't execute?

I have an Airtel Axis Cc and the due date was 1.4.25. I have Auto debit facility enabled and it always deducts on due date usually in the morning. But this time it didn't. I tried to pay via NetBanking in evening and it gave me a warning regarding possibility of double payment and that I should let the autodebit handle it.

Really confused, what I should do now? This is totally a fault on part of Axis Bank right? I have 12x the amount of my cc bill available in the connected savings account.

Anyone else facing this issue?

Sometimes it happen. It's normal. Most probably it'll be deducted today. You won't be penalized for this. Wait till evening after that pay manually. If double payment happens you can always take refund of excess payment.

Apr 1 was financial year closure processing and I believe there were App/push notifications saying transactions would be delayed on Apr 1 due to it. That was most likely the reason the auto debit did not happen yesterday and should have most likely happened today
