Axis Bank Basic Savings Account limitations

Do any of you here using axis Bank basic savings account. Here and there I am hearing it have some limitations, or restrictions but can't find properly what are the exact limitations it has.

If anyone has first hand experience in this account please share your experience. Or if you have any link that provide detailed information can also share?

For what purpose are you looking for this account?

As the name suggests, it's Basic Savings Account means for basic uses. There's a limit on total amount of deposits & withdrawal after which either u needs to do kyc and upgrade account or close it.

Limits are 1 or 2L p.a

I have easy access account and not needing it much now a days so thinking about converting it to basic one

No such limit but you can't us it as a regular account

Like low debit card purchase limit
Can't transfer high value transactions
Can't deposit cash above 1L in branch ....etc

If you cross then you have to pay charges

And the most important one

You will never get any offer from bank as it a govt promote account.

If you want to run as a secondary ac then no issues
