Still trying to understand the impact of these on normal users. People who take a lot of ltf cards or rotate money might be significantly impacted but aren't the limits still decent?
One extremely bad decision though is that they should had removed the premium benefits post customer's yearly fee cycle.
Selling reserve for 50k with luxury transfer as benefit and then removing it is bad.
But still not sure how much it impacts a normal user wrt rewards and all.

and the group A transfer limit is 30k for Atlas which is also really pathetic.
A smarter decision would have been to review the ratio without these silly caps. A cap essentially tells a user to stop spending once they use up their limits and cannot use more points until the next year (so no point earning and parking them for the 20% cash value).

Although given the link of this ratio to the burgundy account/card usp, Axis found itself between a rock and a raging group of axis cc holders.

I was on the verge of applying for Axis Atlas in April. The meet and greet services were a big draw but all gone now. Thank God I didn't go ahead.
Now I'm feeling happy with just my Infinia and Amex Plat+Plat-travel combo 🙂

Off topic. There was a thread with the list of websites that accept amazon pay. Can't find it now. If anyone is having the link please help. Thanks.

A suggestion for Axis is to make their points lifetime valid for these upper segment cards because their reward structures are still insane for people to keep withdrawing based on the yearly caps as long as they keep earning #passiveincome

The thing about Ace is since it's never offered LTF to 99.999% people, I find it hard now to justifying pay ₹499+GST=₹589 annually, now GPay is taking "convenience fees" as well. It negates the 5% on bills and 1.5% elsewhere savings on this card. Barely breaking even. Especially when for utility bills, a more powerful and solid option is RuPay Platinum debit cards. If that RuPay benefit changes (which is highly unlikely), then Ace becomes more valuable (for those who can't get Airtel Axis). Ace might be a card with revenue-sharing agreement with Google, so Google may have poured some money into it as well, Google is "loaded" 🤣 so to speak, and this is a Visa card so they get MDR on it. What's in it for customer if paying ₹589 annually? Some measly savings.

I have that. Will have to settle for 3.25 % valueback now. Currently was earning 5.4 % valueback on fuel using AXIS IOCL. ( 20 er points per Rs 100 spent on the card , 1% cashback using axis iocl card on fueling using BHIM app and 0.4 % valueback using Indian Oil XtraRewards )
what is indian oil xtra rewards can you explain?

Dude.. you dont need to be sarcastic or snarky just because someone holds Axis accounts and you hate Axis. No one currently is liking Axis (including me) however why are you doing personal attacks to everyone who has a different perspective?
Absolutely agree, Today it's Axis, tomorrow it will be HDFC or any other bank. I am more pissed with Axis for Reserve card.

People don't realise that M4B is still one of the best card in India. If I book tickets worth 2 lacs on Travel edge, I get 48000 Net points which is worth Rs. 86000 Accor stay.No card can give such reward . I anyways book two trips worth 2 lacs each and hence this card makes absolute sense for me. So, 96000 points sorted from Group A with Accor stay worth 1,92,000/- For another 1,04,000 I need to spend almost 15 lacs.

I just ordered some liquor from my local guy. Bill amount was 10k. I get magnus points worth 600= 1200 Rs. Accor stay.. Infinia 333 points..

What Axis Bank is doing is try to weed out people using card for small benefits like BMS or Lounge. M4B card is becoming premium. I am looking at a card for my own personal use and benefits useful for me. Lot of people, just see benefits, useful or not doesn't matter.

One should take card that suits their lifestyle and not change lifestyle as per cards.

Different perspective to see M4B. Leaving out few caveats, the card still makes sense.

The only real "devaluation" this time is the transfer cap. But I am hoping it's implemented like September 2023 with 2L cap per transfer partner in group A which will let you diversely use points across various airlines and hotels.
I don’t think they are gonna cap it for individual partners.

This capping is at group and customer id level right?
