Axis Bank Burdundy Account opening

I visited Axis bank to open Burgundy bank account. They asked me to give initial funding of 5 lakhs which I did online through the Axis Bank website. But after that, I received an SMS from Axis few hours later that - We're unable to process your Axis Bank Burgundy Savings A/c application. Please deposit required funding amount to resume the process. T&C apply.
I called customer care and provided the Customer ID from the Instakit that I received today and the customer care rep says that they cannot find any money on my Customer ID. Can anyone recommend what should I do next?

Link was sent over email
Ideal TAT for burgundy account opening is 24 hours (conveyed by my RM and branch executive both) but Axis conveys 3 days.

You must have received the transaction details of that payment.

Reach out to branch and things will be resolved.

I tried opening account for my wife and it seems stickers of 2 instakits were swapped and account opening didn't go through but online payment which I made was deposited to the account.

I visited branch and after little bit hassle I got the DD from branch.

So visiting branch will be helpful

I was ready to open Axis burgundy with IP of 5L(already have Citi priority account since 17 years but not sure when the merger would happen) but branch guy instead insisted and opened liberity salary account (less than 2 months). He stopped responding to text/call and now wants me to visit the branch that's 29 kms from my work/home.
Any suggestions.

i dont need Magnus, just checking for Burgundy to avail 2% cb

What 2% cb? Via Select and its 2x ERs for some merchants? Believe me, it's not worth waiting 4 months for, and then having to beg for it more often than not. What other way?

And going to all that trouble for that! Coming after years with Citi, it will be some change!

There are other ways (at other banks) to get those 1 - 2% cb in a much less aggravating manner, and with a possibility of much better customer service to boot.

And, (at the risk of blasphemy), that 2% cb is still only 2%, any which way you look at it. It is so overrated, as far as I am concerned.

Hi,
I work in the Affluent segment of Burgundy with Axis Bank in Bangalore. Account opening documentation is possible by visiting your residential address as well. I can help you open a burgundy account since I have connections PAN India with Axis Bank, just help me with: 1) Already opened an account with Axis or not? 2) Your city, so that I can help you with onboarding process without a hassle. 🙂
