Axis bank charges.

I opened a savings account with Axis Bank on 4th Dec 2023. I was charged Rs. 590 for the debit card issuance fee. On 21st Jan 2024 I was charged another Rs. 590 for the annual fee. This means I was charged Rs. 590 for one month as annual fees, which seems unusual. I checked my statement today and noticed this. Is it okk??

Axis levies annual fees in advance. because they feel that the customer will run away anytime after experiencing their service.

But (from what I've heard) they charge together in beginning, in your case they charged with 1 month gap. Clarify the same with cc

Yes, you should ask the cc on why it has been charged twice. Let us know their response.

Le cc: sir, we're axis bank, we stand by our name. So we charge 590rs from X axis and 590rs from Y axis, iif you're still unhappy & wish to receive our special service too, then we have z axis plan also (just in case).
