Ok, I've about 15k points in my PremierMiles account and so far, it was free because of Citi Gold which I closed. After this conversation, not sure what to do with these points since I don't travel much and Citi doesn't allow points to cash conversion. So no point paying 3.5k.

Any idea guys, what's possible here? How do I redeem points and close the card?
You can redeem 15000 PM points for around 4500 Amazon Pay vouchers (3300 points per 1000 APay GV). Redemption can be done on the Citi website itself.

Though we can use it for gold and jewellery. That has not been excluded unlike atlas. They have excluded education fee in it and left that in atlas

they should have common code to avoid future issues, otherwise support people might confuse which card they're responding.

Even with new 3 cards, AXS created more confusion than clarity. They should have simple structure.

And if they tired, and irritated can take inputs from IDCF, single structure for all cards for peace of mind to bank, users, backend support.

purchase 5.5k on grocery, redeem points at 0.35p value by clicking sms link after that.

or fuel, or utilities.. check product page for detail process and limits.

Axis kept it complex to stimulate more interest in Axis cards.
the more complex a product, the more interest its stimulates!
eg. various point conversion and redemption options for HDFC infinia

Yes but they can simply ask people to pay more for Atlas or opt for same fee card Select (I meant work with existing products), there is no point to create new product with benefits which already available in other existing product in same bank.

I agree these people try to retain Citi people by thinking they like the existing citi card features and benefits.. and forgot that people already know their existing cards and its benefits, and hope for change.

With this fee for metro residents (due to application jurisdiction as well as card swipe acceptance) Amex PT will be a no brainer with 3.5k fee 1st yr (free for referral applications) who get lounge without any spend criteria…
4l spends straight away 40kplus points and taj 10k voucher cherry on top
doesn't amex palt travel require some fees to be paid for lounge access?
