Axis Credit Card Mobile Number Change Problem

Shraaj

TF Premier
I applied for an Airtel Axis credit card from my Sister's Mobile Number (PAN, Aadhar and all Details were mine) When I received the card, I Changed the Mobile Number from the Axis Mobile App, and after 3 hrs I got an email and SMS that My New Number is Updated and now the issue is when I called to customer care they only recognizing OLD Number while calling. I researched about it and then found out that Axis Bank Changes Mobile Numbers only at the OTP Level. That is the reason I can't use the Mobile App with the new mobile number because they have 2 more Options in which we need to update the mobile number i.e. WORK Address and Permanent Address.

I have earlier faced this issue with the Flipkart axis also when my dad had a card and I updated it via the app, then OTP came to my number but Mobile App I can't register because On the Primary Level Dad's Number is there!

Guys, Please Post your views!

What to do now? Contacted Customer Care they said to visit a branch, and after visiting branch the executive told me he doesn't have option (what a rubbish employee they have)

@Farhad sekh @card-shard After updating my mobile number on the Airtel app, I noticed that my card details were no longer visible. I also noticed that the app was still asking me to apply for an Airtel Axis credit card. However, when I clicked on the option, it showed me a message saying "Sorry, no offers are available."

Interestingly, when I checked my sister's Airtel app (which was originally used to apply for the credit card), I found that My card details were still visible, and the option to apply for the credit card was no longer there.

Update - I raised a dispute complaint on CIBIL's website to change the number to mine, and surprisingly, within just 24 hours, the number of my sister's (I used her number to get an Airtel Axis credit card) was changed to my permanent number. I am relieved that my CIBIL profile is now free of multiple numbers and appears clean.

Guys, Whoever tried from their Mother, Father, Brother, or Sister Airtel App can try dispute on CIBIL, Maybe your number changed @AlgoTrader

But has your sister's number completely removed from your cibil account? I heard when someone applies from some other mobile number and if that number gets reported to cibil then it remains there on your cibil report.

Awesome.
Can someone now find a way to link Airtel Card on the Airtel App of our own number's account, that will complete the correct linking process, then I can say for Airtel Card:

"Just looking like a WOW"

Do we know a way to see the card in Airtel thanks app once the mobile number is updated and removed the linking from old number in thanks app.

I disputed the issue with CIBIL and it has now been marked as resolved. The number has been completely removed.

Now download CRIF report pdf from official website.
All numbers will be there.
"Okay, I see my primary number is also displayed in 99% of the places, including the one you showed me. Axis Bank recently reported this number a couple of weeks ago, so all credit bureau agencies should be notified to dispute it in all those places. Thank you for bringing this to my attention!"

Confirm if your other number gets removed from CRIF and Experian reports.
