Axis Credit Card Rejected

I had applied for the Axis credit card and it was rejected after few days.
So I mailed PNO to know the exact reason, but they replied the same "Internal policy" issue.
And surprisingly he also mentioned that I can reapply after 12 months 🤐🤐

Now this what is bothering me, I mean seriously, 12 months?
Is this true?

I asked them about the exact reason, but they didn't reply me properly & now they are saying I can reapply after 6 months, attaching the screenshot below.

I opened Easy access A/C n received pre-approved offer fr Axis Flipkart. Then received Axis Ace n Airtel as well.

When did You received the 1st pre-approved offer?

You should not have opened the account.
Even if you wanted the account, you should have first opened the account and then asked for the card via SMS/call route that I had suggested a while ago.

Regardless, for credit card concern, simply mail PNO asking for the rejection reason quoting the RBI circular I sent above. They should comply.
If not, you can complain to RBI as well.

However, I think if you call them now and ask for Neo LTF SMS on call, you should get the card. So you can try that as well because it does not trigger the CIBIL hit.

Is it possible to get the card on call if I have only a savings account?

Few days back, Axis customer support executive told me about recent change in cooling period for applying credit card
If credit card approved - next day you can apply for another card
If credit card rejected - reapply after 12 months

Actually I just called the customer care, they told me the same, it's 12 months.
Before that they will decline my applications, but they said if I received any pre-approved offers, I can avail the offer without any issue

This is not correct. They rejected Atlas in November but after that opened liberty account and Atlas was approved in December. Now if try to apply another card it doesn't let me to apply saying you already have card.

I used it extensively. Did all types of txn. Used in- app UPI, debit card, did cash deposit n I had one FD of 50k.

This is not correct. They rejected Atlas in November but after that opened liberty account and Atlas was approved in December. Now if try to apply another card it doesn't let me to apply saying you already have card.

Customer care person told me it depends on the reason of rejection, if it's rejected for over limit usages then it will be 12 months cooling period, but if it's rejected only for documents related issues then I can apply again before 12 months.

Any suggestions to get axis card easily? opened a Libarty savings account at the time of KYC.

Same happened with me also. Applied credit and open online savings account together, but credit Card rejected. I used their debit card, upi, maintain balance etc. After 4 months again applied credit card, this time approved within 4 days.

My airtel Axis card rejected via cashkaro, but within 10 minutes got approved via axis bank mobile app. They are unpredictable!😅

Axis Flipkart within 6 months of a/c opening. I used it fr 3 months then I was pre-approved fr Airtel.
MAB around 25k. I used UPI, debit card n cash deposit as well. Was having fd as well with them.

you can ask for the exact reason. Normally it’s 6months, but I don’t know , since Axis is Axis(Dil se open Dimmag se band), so you can expect 24 months also.

Even SBI has made it mandatory to reapply after 12 months!

Just got a reply from the pno, I asked him about the exact reason, but again he replied that deu the Internal policy they rejected my application.

But the main thing is that, now he is saying I can reapply after 6 months, atteched the screenshot in Main Post.
