Axis Credit Card Rejected

I had applied for the Axis credit card and it was rejected after few days.
So I mailed PNO to know the exact reason, but they replied the same "Internal policy" issue.
And surprisingly he also mentioned that I can reapply after 12 months 🤐🤐

Now this what is bothering me, I mean seriously, 12 months?
Is this true?

I asked them about the exact reason, but they didn't reply me properly & now they are saying I can reapply after 6 months, attaching the screenshot below.

Yes I mentioned the rbi circular still they didn't reply properly. I have asked them again, let's see what happened this time.

Also I called them to provide me a card, they told me as I am only holding a savings account without any credit card from axis that's why they will not be able to provide me any card over call.

Did you quote the RBI circular I shared?

If you did and they still replied with internal policy, mail them again.
This time reiterate about the RBI guidelines for providing the exact reason and add that you will be complaining to RBI BO if Axis bank insist on not providing the reason.

Meanwhile I would suggest to try the Call route to ask for Neo LTF (Rupay if you prefer) offer to be sent to your registered mobile as SMS.

12 months seem insane but again Axis being Axis, they can do anything.

I would suggest start using some of their services, open a new account, keep some money, make and some trades and you should get the pre-approved offer much before that! 🙂

Already opened a Libarty account, the agent who came for KYC he requested me to open an account so I opened that time.

And did a small FD for a small time. Let's see what happened

Just ask them to send Neo LTF offer over SMS.
If few executive decline, try with other executives.
This is just a hit and try method, so maybe check 3-4 times and leave it.

Now for PNO email, if it decline this time as well, you should initiate a complain with RBI BO.

They denied to give neo card as I am not holding any existing axis card.

So I am going to wait for a pre-approved offer
