Axis Credit Card Axis devaluation announced w.e.f. 20th April 2024

i think Atlas is good for 1st year. As they give 5000 Edge points which will translate to 10k hotel/flight points. for 1 year use it on hotel/flight direc bookings, if you do not cross 3L threshold by 11 month seek cancellation
Yeah, I am thinking to keep it for one year, 5K can be recovered.

I have one doubt. Currently I have M4B and transfers are 5:4 whether Edge Miles or Rewards. If I activate my Atlas, how will Axis bifurcate points? Can they do 5:4 and 1:2 from the same bucket?

Does Domestic Lounge on Priority Pass also require 50k spends in last 3 months ?

Also ,i wasn't aware that there are Domestic Lounge Guest visits on Magnus ,is that a new thing!

As far as the info from Axis Bank, Min 50k spend is required to get lounge access. So it's pretty much clear that 50k spend is required even if you hold priority pass.

After axis atlas devaluation, is it still worthy or good to go with Amex travel platinum? My overall spends will be around 6L per year incl travel.

Bkl Axis , all cards devalued . Atlas ka toh expected tha . Ace/Airtel/IOCL came out of syllabus.

IOCL jaise basic card jo LTF milta hai mostly , uske liye spends based waiver 50k se seedha 3.5Lac .

Axis , Bhai konsa maal phoonk rahe ho !?
They didn’t even leave their Debit cards 🥹

Amex plat Travel is a great card with solid return if you want taj vouchers or marriot bonvoy points

There was this clause in the recent card portability rule right that issuers with less than 10lac active cards will not have to comply with portability
I think axis bank devalued all cards so that people cancel their cards and axis comes below 10lac user base and skip from that rule. 😂

I have spent approximately 8 lakhs on Axis Magnus till today, with my renewal date set for 30th July 2024.Despite the renewal waiver threshold being 15 lakhs, I'm currently exploring options to waive off my renewal charges. If this isn't possible, my plan is to downgrade the card to Neo. Additionally, I also hold Amex Platinum Charge and Platinum Travel cards, which means I can utilize Amex Platinum for lounges and other benefits. Do you have any suggestions?

If financially possible, then open a Burgundy savings account, put 30 lakhs in fixed deposits and ask the relationship manager to upgrade your card to Magnus burgundy
that is the best card in India.

If that's not possible try to get axis atlas or Airtel.
Don't bother about Neo and myzone

Between Plat Charge and Plat travel, you're set for most of your spends ,all you need is a Visa or MC for where Amex doesn't Work,
Might i suggest Stan-Chat Ultimate ,
Or Axis Vistara Signature if you fly vistara(i have it ,will hold on to it)

Instead of Axis Bank's Vistara card, can I try the IDFC Vistara card? I'm concerned about Axis Bank's changing policies that could lead to devaluation of their credit card benefits.

My cards costs me ~3600 after tax and gives a Prem Economy Voucher every Renewal,
IDFC will charge 5k + Gst fir the same

Axis devaluation is an issue but for now this card makes sense

Alternatively look into SBI Vistara Prime ,
Even their Air India Signature is a good card if you have regular high spends on visa card and you fly Air India
