Axis do cibil inquiry for limit increase?

I got cibil inquiry yesterday from axis bank for credit card with amount showing 10,000

But I didn't applied for any Axis cc and
I already have freecharge axis cc with 15k limit

I mailed to pno for credit limit increase before 4 days.
Is this the reason for cibil check?

Or it's some unauthorised inquiry and I should file complaint to remove it?

In my case, it took almost 7 days (5 working days).

Thank you! Still waiting on mine unfortunately, would be pissed if they ended up declining after all this.

Just in 24 hours.
If inquiry is done then don't worry you will get limit increased definitely if good CIBIL history and score is 760 range mostly.

Today may be it should done or on Monday.

Check in app also if it's already increased👍

Hopefully. Cibil score is 760+ and no default payments ever, so that’s no problem but recently I had a bit too many enquiries done, some without my permission, raised a dispute but that will take a while, just hoping that wouldn’t hinder my chances. Did check the app, nothing yet. Will update what happens!

Today another service request was raised by axis (without my knowledge) about credit limit enhancement, now there is 2 service request stating the same, did this happen in your case?

Update! They finally increased my credit limit on Tuesday, from 15k-35k. We were hit by a cyclone so couldn't update sooner! Thank you for the assistance!
